I’ve mentioned William Kamkwamba’s story on my blog before. He’s an African teen (19 years now), who had to drop out of school because of financial difficulties. But that didn’t stop him from learning by himself. He taught himself to build a windmill (when he was 14). The windmill now generates electricity for his home. A great inspiration of a teen who didn’t took his life into his own hands. He didn’t wait around for others to aid or for professionals to come and build the windmill. He took it into his own hands, and did something significant for his community.
