My thoughts kind of mirror his. I think success is about the process. It’s about the journey and the learning. When you go for a hike up a mountain, sure you love the view from the top. And that’s what you aim for and what you wish to see. But just as rewarding is the journey up. The hike up is just as important and rewarding as the view from the top of the hill.
I think it’s the same with anything you do. Take it as an experience. Sure you will have a goal you want to achieve. But even if you don’t, take the experience for what it is worth and learn from it. Enjoy it. To me, if you do that, you’ve succeeded.
What about you? How do you define success?
Thanks for the link love.
I define success as taking action in the direction of something that you want to accomplish. The destination is not the success for me – it’s the process that’s the success.
