10 years ago, Deep Blue beat Kasparov in chess. It sparked off a lot of controversy and conversation about what chess is really about, and more importantly the deeper question of the difference between humans and computers.

MIT Technology Review has an article about that loss and its implications. A interesting article, and a worthwhile read. The article questions whether we really are that different from computers, and what sets us apart. What really makes us human?
