hahaa. im not about to leave some intellectual comment, but it’s up to us to change that right. education, especially for kids, should be made fun and interactive, it is their right.
I like how the woman that’s holding her son back wants a national standard. Other than that, I woulnd’t want to hold back my child. When they get to High School, they’re birthday would be a year before everyone elses, they’d think that kid failed a grade.
aloe: Yeah. Couldn’t agree more. So I hope when you become a kindergarten teacher (as I know you want to), you can do something to change that. =).
Alex: A national standard would help. Here in Singapore I think there’s kind of a national standard and it helps. But the fact remains that there is undue pressure on the kids, I think.
