Okay, maybe he didn’t mean to close it down per se. But he feels that the internet is “destroying good music” and that it “stopped people from going out and being with each other, creating stuff.”
While I think that the internet is a really useful technology, I do agree slightly with what he says. And it’s not only music. The internet is making the world more impersonal.
And yet it’s a networking tool. It’s the interNET (net as in network). It’s got so much potential for connecting people. How can you use the internet to connect people? I think Galvin’s Friendmark project is great. Any other ideas?
