Steve Olsen tells us about Entrepreneurial Eyes.
Once you have Entrepreneurial Eyes, you’ll never see the world the same… you’ll see a world filled with endless opportunity.
The opportunities are always there, it’s whether you see them.
[?]What do you talk about?

Peter Clemens tells us gives us his take on the famous Eleanor Roosevelt quote.
Great minds talk about ideas, average minds talk about events, and small minds talk about people - Eleanor Roosevelt
The point of this article is simple: don’t be one of these people who are obsessed with the lives of celebrities, neighbors, work colleagues and ex-high school classmates. If you are going to think about someone’s life, what better life to think about then your own? None of us are perfect, so why obsess over other’s imperfections? And if you truly want to have a great mind, spend time thinking and talking about interesting ideas.
Interesting thoughts, but I can’t say I fully agree.
While I do believe in the value of talking about ideas, and believe we should all do it, I don’t think that talking or thinking about someone else’s life is bad. Maybe not the lives of celebrities, but the lives of those around us should have value to us.
Personally, I believe in the value of people and community. And while there is a value in ideas, I believe that people are more important. We aren’t made to be selfish or to live just by ourselves. None of us are perfect, and that’s precisely why we should help each other and try to spur each other on, closer to perfection and our goals.

Those are a couple of Peter Clemens’ beliefs, that led to the blog title he chose: http://wwwiwillchangeyourlife.com
Two great beliefs that I completely agree with. So a couple of questions for you.
1) Are you willing to stand out from the pack?
2) Are you willing to be the one to change the world?
The Internet Agenda
Jul 18, 2007 Moved from Blogger Comments
According to a survey done by New Paradigm, “56% of the world’s online youth would prefer to make the world a better place than to improve their local community.”
As much as I do think making the world a better place is a worthwhile cause, I think this also reflects how youths tend to look out a lot. We look out to the world at large, but don’t see the problems in our own backyard. We need to pay proper attention to our local community. It’s easier, and more effective. And if everyone focuses on improving their local community, wouldn’t the world automatically become a better place?

[?]Just a Cell Phone

Slashdot asks the question, “Where in the US can you get just a cell phone?” With no camera, no PDA, just a cell phone with good reception that calls and sends messages.
Honestly, probably not anywhere. Even in Singapore it’s almost impossible to find that. As a society we’ve forgotten the value of simplicity in functionality. Kind of sad, in my opinion.
[?]Swimming at the North Pole
Jul 17, 2007 Moved from Blogger Comments
A British man goes swimming in the North Pole to take a stand on global warming. That’s passion and determination at its best. To be willing to go that far out for a cause. And well, he’s just a normal person, an average British man. But willing to go all out for something he believes in.
What do you believe in? And how far are you willing to go for it? Will you be willing to go all the way to the North Pole?
[?]Social Networking

Social networking sites (like facebook and myspace) are taking the web by storm, and it seems even parents are seeing the value of it.
Everyone wants to be a part of a network and community. I think it’s great that the internet is finally starting to live up to its potential of connecting people.
