I want to take the chance to thank Sarah Deutsch, from the Drama Farm.

I’ve mentioned her quite a few times before, but I want to thank her for her donation. She was the first to donate to my blog. It might not have been a big donation (I won’t mention the exact amount), but it was a very awesome gesture. She herself is collecting funds for the Drama Farm, and yet she took the time (and money) out to donate to my blog. It’s a gesture that I really appreciate.

So, to Sarah, thanks! =). And for the rest of you, you should check out the Drama Farm. I suggest you guys support it in any way you can. I think it’s a great organization, and by an even greater person.

    Thanks for the mention – I'm always happy to contribute to a good cause!

    Some people think it's silly that I donate to my friends' causes when I'm looking for donations myself, but I think there's a lot more than money that comes with a donation. It's a little affirmation that someone out there believes in what you're doing and wants to support you and be a part of it, and it gives you a little extra burst of motivation and energy to put back into your work.

    Even if the money sometimes does end up just going around in circles, I think the act of donating does a lot of good on its own! =)
